• Development and implementation of procurement strategies for electronic components

• Identification and establishment of long-term partnerships with international suppliers, including offer comparisons, negotiations, and contract finalizations

• Optimization of supply chains and cost savings while ensuring quality and delivery reliability

• Assessment of procurement risks and execution of cost and risk analyses

• Collaboration with production, research & development, and quality management departments

• Participation in project teams for the development of new laboratory devices

• Contribution to the risk management strategy, particularly concerning raw material availability and market price fluctuations

• Ensuring sustainability and compliance standards in the procurement process

• Completed apprenticeship or degree in electrical engineering or a comparable field, complemented by further education in business administration

• Profound knowledge of electronics, ideally in the biotechnology industry

• Several years of experience in strategic procurement, particularly with electronic components

• Experience in contract management is an advantage

• Familiarity with ERP systems and the analysis of technical drawings as well as specifications of electronic components

• Willingness to travel approximately 15%

• Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken
